ABOUT THE PEOPLE HUB
At the start of 2016 Rob Bishop formed The People Hub,
a collaboration of like-minded Christchurch business professionals who are values driven,energetic and passionate about people.
There is an underpinning philosophy about working closely with individuals and organisations to understand and add value to their people and performance needs.
The People Hub is made up of a number of small to medium size businesses – from recruitment, talent management services, coaching, leadership development, outplacement, organisational psychology and change; to the strategic and planned design and development of culture.
Members of The People Hub collaborate together, sharing ideas, theories, services and innovations – we believe that the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts and that, in working together, we are better able to leverage ideas and knowledge to help people and organisations grow, develop and succeed.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Essential to the success of The People Hub and its member organisations will be a sense of collaboration, trust and equality. We will need to recognise that there may be a certain overlap between our service offerings and that a mutually respectful approach to business will be required. Nobody ‘owns’ clients – they choose who they work with and there may be times when we compete for business.
There is no expectation that the member companies ‘clip the ticket’ when referring work or offering leads. Rather the success of the individual members will contribute to the success of the whole. Appropriate client confidentiality must also be respected and whilst we will collaborate – it is in an ethical, values driven manner.
We are in this for the greater good of the collective but understand and appreciate that our decisions are always driven in the best interests of the client.
No one member is more important than another and every voice will be heard, respected and valued.
